Product Description

PDLC Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal is a mixture of low molecular liquid crystal and prepolymer, under certain conditions through polymerization reaction, the formation of micron level liquid crystal droplets evenly dispersed in the polymer network. Using the dielectric anisotropy of liquid crystal molecules, materials with electro-optical response characteristics are obtained, which mainly work between the scattering state and the transparent state and have a certain gray level.
Automotive liquid crystal dimming film (PDLC), can control the transparency of the glass through electricity, the main working principle is that when the power is on, the polymer liquid crystal material in the liquid crystal film under the action of the electric field, will be orderly arranged, so that the light can easily penetrate the glass into transparent, and on the other hand, when the power is turned off, the polymer liquid crystal material will be disrupted and can not be normally sorted into a zero state. It has a transparent but opaque appearance.
